Let’s go to the…, zoo?

22 05 2009

Well, I guess we were just too bored with the time we have and have decided to go somewhere educational, I would say.

Nah, we were too bored and had no idea where to go.

Zoo Negara suddenly came into our minds and Zoo Negara, we went.

I did learn a few things during the visit. There are actually two species of orang utans, if my memory serves me right.

Surprised to see even a brown bear knows how to relax in his private pool.

A bird on my hand! If only I’ve paid attention to what the emcee said about the name of the bird.
That was my first ever contact with a bird of any kind.

zoo negara nice ar? it has been a long time since i last visited zoo negara. everytime i go to a zoo, the same thing comes into my mind. how cn an animal be locked in such a small place for its entire life? i cudnt imagine how my life cud be if i m imprison in my house forever. anyway, there’s pros and cons. if there’s no zoo, v wudnt know that those animals actually exist, or they may be exposed to greater danger outside too. haihzz..

I don’t know who idea was it, but we somehow agreed to go. No worries man, I’m still as healthy as ever. The bird did kinda scratch my hand, leaving a little wound which healed in a few days.

I believe it is a cockatoo. You must be good with animals.

And the visit was pretty good except that zoo negara needs a lot of maintanance and upgrading to do. Pity those animals, but in a way, it is ensure the survival of certain species, and yeah, for education sake.

xu vin xu vin, you must be really bored to come up with that. Entrance fee is RM 15 for adults. For students wearing school uniform, it’s RM 6. You can wear your school uniform there to save yourself RM 9
